Jay says 'the key to a good song is being prepared. Making sure the song is well written and produced and making sure the fans and listeners as kept interested. I work quickly and tend to mix a track between 2 hours and 4 hours using a mixture of outboard equipment during recording and mixing as well as templates in Pro Tools. This means not only can i get the client their product as quickly as possible but i'm able to spend less time setting up routing and plugins and more time mixing and making that track hit!'
